Praises:
*God continues to remind us HE is our provider (received a free $50 from some rewards card Mark had, what a sweet reminder of His provision and goodness to us)
*We have food to eat, shelter (and close to a beautiful lake), warmth, He indeed provides above and beyond
*We are blessed with two incredible families... parents and siblings, who we have SO much fun with, and who continue to encourage and challenge us in moving forward and enjoying life
Prayer:
*Endurance, perseverance and hope as we wait for jobs and spend nearly every day just looking for and applying for jobs, and hoping for replies (which are VERY seldom in such a tourist town)
*Reminders that we can do ALL things through His strength, Reminders to rejoice, and to be thankful always (sometimes it is HARD in times like these!!)
*For a church community, and people to journey with, share with, be encouraged and challenged by, and do the same in return
*For wisdom and clear thought as we seek where He wants us, and what He wants us doing...
Today I am resonating with God's words through Jeremiah, "I call (this) to mind and therefore I have hope: Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness."

ReplyDeleteIt's nice to hear what's going on in your lives! (I guess now it's more of a *life*, singular...isn't that fun?) We're in the same boat and definitely understand the need to wait, trust, and praise in the midst of it.
